Resident Kabuki Theatre (“RKT”) has been a fixture of US-Lightbringer for nearly twenty years. A core of veterans from the beginning to over a decade ago have sought to continuously face new content and push to greater challenges. RKT’s goal going into 11.1 is simple – to obtain AOTC while it remains cutting edge content, while building our roster to begin the push into mythic progression. We will achieve this on the six-hour schedule the guild has often had, using tools like Wipefest, Wow Analyzer, and Liquid Tools to maximize progress on a light schedule, so our raiders can maintain the hobby they are passionate about and the personal lives that players of a twenty-year-old game undoubtedly have. We expect our players to be prompt, to listen to feedback, maintain consistent attendance while informing officers of absences, be respectful of each other, and to take their performance seriously. What does that mean tangibly? • Always striving to improve raid awareness and execute mechanics, including minimizing avoidable damage. • Maintaining 50% or higher ilvl parses as DPS. • Maintaining median ilvl raw HPS for ilvl as a healer, while executing cooldown usage correctly and consistently. • Tanks correctly executing swaps and mechanics, and correctly utilizing both active mitigation and significant defensive cooldowns. Our players should expect officers to be prepared, concise, positive, and thoughtful. This includes: • Flasks and feasts available during all progression. • Officers to be prepared with strategies suitable for the group as currently constituted. • Wherever possible, using quantifiable metrics to evaluate performance and give feedback, rather than subjective evaluations that are difficult to gauge improvement on. Ultimately, everyone in RKT must operate in good faith, supporting each other and recognizing that the other players on their team rely on them. We are adults playing a game to have fun, and no one should feel like they are at another job. A foundation of respect and trust in each other enable us to succeed and be comfortable, and we expect each and every person to maintain that foundation.
